Sub Woofer Volume Control
 

The sub woofer in the back that my 2007 HHR came with is VERY low. How do I get it to play louder? There are no dials and the radio doesn't show any volume switch for the sub woofer...

No controls....make sure the fader is in the middle as the rears "add"to the sub
other then that all can do is adjust the bass on the HU (bass-mid-treble-fade-balance)

That kind of sucks. I didn't even know I had a sub woofer in there. It's that low. I went to a stereo store to purchase one and the guy told me there's one already in there....

Looking for factory sub.

Sounds like another problem..mine is ok for a stocker, if your expecting thump, its not gonna be there.Ive deadened and foamed my doors and that went a long way to bring out the bass of the system...have Infinities in the doors also..can't have anything in the door pockets now as they create a nasty rattle at decent volume levels.Still gonna add a another sub probably keep the stocker and tap in for the aftemarket.That way I can remove the box and its the less intrusive way.
