Swapping radio

I purchased this from Amazon, Android 13 [2G+64G] Car Radio for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D39QQBXJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I assumed it was plug and play, however it is not turning on. I’m not sure if I need to tap it into a fuse for power.

You need to either tap into a switched fuse (any of the unused places on the BDM) and lose the turn signal and other chimes or, get a GMlan adapter.

the set came with a speaker for chimes through the included hardware. Any idea what I need to splice into since it came with a wiring harness that I just plug the existing one into, it did not come with anything loose for me to tap, so I would have to cut them out of the harness so they no longer connect to the existing or do I splice them in? Also if I follow the existing power, it does connect to new power, my understanding is it’s an issue with how the hhr activates the oem system, so there’s not enough to power the aftermarket one.

Look at Crutchfield website for instructions to adapt to aftermarket radio.

The original radio has constant power for the memory and is turned on by a digital signal from the BCM.
The directions that came with the adapter should explain how to hook it up.
I
The chimes come from a digital signal from the BCM.
I think the pin marked ACC should go to a switched source. The ANT is the pink wire on the stock radio, it powers the antenna amp.
Any of the "not used" fuse positions on the BCM are switched via the RAP relay, so they stay on until the driver door is closed.

This is where I start to question things, the line in the harness connect directly to the ones in the vehicle. For example, the acc and ground, run directly from the original through the harness into the back of the head unit. If I need to cut those from the harness, do I bypass say the power line from the original and connect to the fuse, or do i tie it into the line, leaving it connected to original? I dont want to burn something out by pushing more power into a line that isnt designed to handle it. The directions that came with it basically said it was plug and play, I couldn't find anything in them that would have me tap a fuse, nor did I see anything in the comments for the product, it didn't even come with a wire to tap, I had to buy those separately since it seemed it was something I was going to have to do. Sorry, cars are not my strong suit, I can wire a house with my eyes closed or build a computer from scratch, but if its not a youtube video, Im lost with cars.

The directions are in the Amazon link you provided. Note the three dots at the bottom, they are more pages.
If the module provided is a GMLan adapter it needs the LAN and constant power connected to it
It is not a matter of available amperage. The LAN tells the module to turn the radio on and the chimes.
Not a "car" problem it is a computer network problem.

Yes, I saw these, and when I plug everything in, nothing happens. If it's a computer issue over a car issue, how do i figure that out, the set didnt come with any option to run addition power, but I bought extra cable if I need to do that. I assume its not the hardware i received since I bought two and neither did anything when plugged in, which lead me to consider adding the additional power.

I got no idea. The reviews seem to say it was an easy install.
I suspect that the "8 pin connector for canbus" is the key to turning it on. CANBUS is the computer network.

I thought that might have been an issue, so tested it by pulling it and testing each one separately with each wire harness and head unit.
