Upgrading the base unit

Hi, I am curious about a couple of issues with the stock basic stereo setup in the LS model. I haven't pulled back the rear panel to look, but would the wiring exist for the sub and amp if you don't have the premier system? There is a grill in the rear panel for a sub so I'm hoping there may be attachments and wiring in place for the sub as well?

I want to add an 8" sub in the side panel, replace at least the 2 front door speakers and add an amp to the factory head unit with minimal hassle. And, it has to be completely hidden/stock looking.

I'm not looking for a lot of bass, just good clean sound for my country music. :)

If most of the pieces are in place, I'll could try this myself. If I have to run new wiring, then I'll need an installer to do it. I'm not confident enough to start pulling carpet and whatnot.

oneton nailed it. If you don't have the premium system, no wiring...no enclosure...and a totally different car-side harness plug behind the radio.

I thought as much. Gonna cost me a bit more then....

The head unit will still take an amp, right? Or is this thing not worth the trouble?
