The springs w/ the max drop is the 1st gen GLs. They've not been in production for several years, but used sets occasionally show up here in the classifieds.

As for the drop of 2nd gen GLs, appox. 1.75" front and a little over 2.00" in the rear. Here's a pic of a pair of HHRs, 1LT w/ 16" rims on left, 2LT w/ 17" rims on the right........

The pic they are show is a cam bolt kit. You remove the old cam bolt, which you have to do anyway when istalling the front springs, and install these in their place. The stock cam bolts are round with spines and made for a stock ride. These are slightly oval and allow for the camber to be adjusted for the lowered stance accordingly. A must if you wish to have the front end camber adjsted properly to minimize tire ware from the lowering springs.

Well...not always, there are some cases where some have had to use cambolts but they were operating on the fringes anyways..the rest of us have NOT installed cam bolts and have not recorded any adverse tire wear..some who did add the bolts wanted to play with camber settings also....the way the front end is set up there is little camber change thru the strut travel unlike earlier cars where camber caster AND toe would change, sometime radically after lowering.
