front brakes suck, i am considering this for my upgrade

Personally I can't give you much information about their use on an HHR. But years ago, I was purchasing their brake pads and rotors by the cases for GM's "high speed" tire test cars. The drivers and technicians apparently liked them, or they wouldn't have requested them.

After saying this, please understand, mechanicals and engineering evolve periodically.....sometimes good, sometimes bad. Can't tell you what it is now.

However, I just received an email, 2 days ago, from Rock Auto indicating Power Stop is now available from them. Rock Auto generally has good pricing, so you might want to check, if you decide these are the components you want.

Also make sure you clean and adjust the rear brakes, if they haven't been touched in a long time, your stock front brakes were being overworked....leading to their "sucking".
