Anti-lock brakes engage when coming to stop
When I come to a stop, my anti-lock brakes engage. It has been doing it most of the time over the past 2 weeks. The brake fluid is full. Rain or shine. Any idea what it might be? No engine light.

Any warning lights on the dash board?

Or is it that your anti-lock brakes are malfunctioning, actually, locking? |
I think he is saying that they start pulsing. What makes the EBCM do that is one of the wheels is spinning at a different speed from the rest of the wheels.
Could be one or more of your brakes are grabbing or worn out or one or more of the wheel speed sensors is bad. Or, the EBCM is faulty. |
When I apply the brakes, right before the car stops the anti lock brakes kick in and you fell the vibration from it. No sliding or any thing. Wheel speed sensor or anti lock module?

1. your brakes need to be inspected, all 4. I suspect the rear brakes have never been adjusted or even looked at, like most.
2. wheel speed sensors 3. remote possibility a bad EBCM |
I replaced the front pads and rotors about a month ago. Never checked the back. It's an 07' with 39,000 miles.

An 07, LS or LT would have rear drum brakes, me thinks there lies the trouble, at the least they will need a cleaning and adjustment!

Especially if the pads wore out in 39,000! They should be good for at least 70,000.

It could be the rear drums. I'll have to check them.
