Before / after pics with Cobalt SS Springs installed

OK I've owned my HHR for two months so its time I get a couple of mods done... I've finally got the Cobalt SS springs installed... Here's a before / after pics of my 2007 HHR. 'After' pic also shows tint installed:

Hopefully I'll get some new wheels and tires next spring.

Mine are used...I bought them off someone on the Cobalt forum. All 4 springs were $80.00 shipped. They must have been removed soon after the car was bought because they were in great shape. As for installing them, the rears took about an hour tops. The fronts took about 2 hrs.... you'll need a spring compressor (I bought a cheap set for $12.00...they worked great!) . If I were to do them again, I could do them alot faster. It's amazing how much you learn by doing! I used the steps outlined in one of the how-to threads.

Looks good!

I too purchased some used Cobalt SS springs off of the CobaltSS forum for the same price. They come up for sale there often, you just have to be patient and wait for them to come up at the price you want. I have not had time to install them as yet, but am looking forward to doing them soon. Is there any difference in ride with the Cobalt springs?

To me, the ride is about the same...maybe a little stiffer but nothing that noticable. I do think that it handles better though I'd like to add a rear sway bar as well.

For sure...lower CG = better handling!

They look good and I complement you on your HHR color choice.

How much did it lower it front and rear. Was the part number 10390024 for the rears? I ask cause I just ordered the rears to level it out!
