Question Can ABS Wheel Hub Replace Non-ABS?

I bought a rear wheel hub assembly on line for a 2007 HHR LS, based on the picture. The car does not have ABS but the part I received has the plug in the middle for ABS.

The Mfg says to return it because they are not the same, but I don't know why it shouldn't be the same fit and function. Would it work or wear any differently if there was no ABS plugged into it? Should I just pay the shipping and restocking fee and get the right one?

Yes, the same. The ABS used to be cheaper so lots got them instead.

Well, your picture shows a non ABS 4 lug hub and a ABS 5 lug hub.
Maybe that's the difference they're talking about in saying it won't fit.

Can ABS Wheel Hub Replace Non-ABS?

Firemangeorge - Good eye! I was focusing on having or not having the ABS plug. It was an unfortunate choice of pictures on my part. Thanks for the input though.
