Control arm bushing test
It's been a really rough winter and a worse spring season on my car and I've got a new clunk. I am strongly suspecting control arm bushings even though I replaced the LCA's exactly one year ago. I inspected them today with a pry bar and there is vertical movement but I don't know how much is normal, if any. They don't appear completely blown out like the originals were but there is movement when I use a pry bar. These are Autozone ones that are currently on the car so probably not the greatest to begin with. Any input on judging the situation would be great. Thanks.

Those will work, but you need the plated ones in any salt conditions, road or sea air.

Car in park all 4 down, energetically attempt to roll a front tire; if the wheel moves but the body does not that LCA is bad. Frequently described as "car keeps moving after a stop".
