THANKS folks.... For the money Duralast will work for me. I can't really complain if they last as long as the stockers. I had my stockers turned once around 20,000 and they have been fine ever since. They do suck on the highway though....

Never used the Duralast ones, but have used the ones from Advance before. Key to sucess is to season them properly. That goes for all new rotors.

X2. When I worked at Advance, our GM bought a set of the "Premium" Duralast pads from Autozone. He took one of the pads and dropped it from the top of a 7 foot ladder along with a set of the Bendix we sold. The Duralast pad shattered on impact but the Bendix did not... I'm still not sure exactly what that proved...

Perhaps the Duralast were "ceramic" and the Bendix were "organic" !? I would think ceramic would shatter by design. I am not an expert!!!!

I put Duralast on my 2006 to solve the problems of shuddering. I have had them on over a year and no other recurring problems. The parts I took off looked new, but it shook like crazy. I did not go back with ceramic pads. I really believe the harder ceramic pads are what causes the shuddering.

Maybe, I know I used the Bendix ones once, those things put out a ton of brake dust. I switched to ceramic and liked them so much better. IMO Bendix are not worth the added cost.

Not easy to find up here, but I use it on almost everything...
(although, I did first find it while living in Texas).
