I was having some problems with my front end. I went through a lot of grief because I did not think the front struts were bad.

I replaced a lot of parts that were fine before I finally broke down and put in the new struts. In the process I ended up with a lot of new parts that can be greased now.

Last summer when I decided to replace the front breaks the disks would not let go. Normally you hit them a mighty smeg with a 2 pound hammer and they come ringing off the front hub. That's what has almost always happened on all the cars I have done front disk breaks on.

Not this time buddy, I had to put a crows foot pry bar behind it and beat both disks all the way off.

Good luck I really hope the single hit with a BFH works for you.

I'd be a bit cautious with that BFH, the wheel bearings are not like the old tapered Timkens..

If it helps go with wagner thermal quit front pads and new rotors,i went with bendix semi metallic and they squeak at low speed ,i even put the stop squeal on the back of pad a little better but still there when brakes are use more ..with the wagners no squeal at all.... :twothumbs:
