FYI Lowered w/ aftermarket struts

Found out over this weekend that if you changed out your struts and are lowered,,AND need to use camber bolts, that some of the struts are NOT set up for this like the stock units are. The stockers are slotted while the aftermarket ones are straight drilled..so if you have replaced struts and the alignment guy says he has to grind out the strut to get back in alignment, you now know why....

I took it for granted that was a common proceedure, but I do my own work so, now that you mention it , that statement from the alignment shop would seem scary!!Thanks

2 years ago I had alighnment done they had to order 2 smaller bolts from Nappa $40.00 this is the 2nd car that had to have smaller bolts to align. with the struts.
