Ditto! If you want to just level your ride and improve handling quick and cheap, the TC springs are the way to go..

No , that is with stock springs in the rear. We just have particularly brutal driveways in Cal...

I used the '08 Cobalt SS/TC rear springs and love the new look and ride ( a little stiffer but still OK). 4 bolts (brake line brakets and bottom shock bolts), be sure to use 2 jack stands for safety and be sure to have just a touch of pressure on the axel in the middle so you can control the drop to release the springs.. It also required a lot of head re-aiming, down quite a bit. Sure wish someone would come out with an affordable REAR disc brake conversion kit. I didn't trim the bump stops and don't bottom out.

I put the SS/SC springs in mine over the weekend. I really like it. Bought them from my local Chevy dealer. I asked him if they price matched and he said that they would for other dealers but NOT gmpartsdirect. I said I understood and asked what his best price was. He said he could do them for $41 each. That was fine with me. I had to pay tax but not shipping. Would rather give my $ to someone local.

Figured i'd post a pic, as mentioned before I have the 09 Cobalt SS Turbo springs. They leveled it out pretty evenly. They are most defiantly stiffer than the stock springs and do improve handling. They are not "too stiff" and the ride is still very compliant. I already had a progress tech rear sway bar and that combined with the springs makes the rear end pretty much dialed. I'm looking at putting the FE5 setup up front now to finish it off. But I defiantly give to these springs , extremely cheap for a great upgrade.

I did the same, but with the SS/SC springs. I liked the rears, but when I later did the front, there was no noticeable difference in either performance or lowering. Just an FYI, but the turbo may be a little better.

I'm REAL tempted to grab a complete set of the FE5 fronts , the complete shock/strut setup shows up every now and then for a few hundred bucks and should be bolt in as far as i know. I wouldn't mind lowering the front a 1/2 inch.
