There is a difference in using the SS Turbo springs (TC) and the SS Supercharged springs (SC). The SC are softer and lowers the car a little more. I have them in my SS and the back is still a little high. When I had installed them in my 2010 LS it leveled the car out. I parked next to a LS/LT and did notice the front of my SS was lower than the other HHR.

Yes the 2005(?) - 2007 were supercharged.
2008 - 2010 were turbocharged.

I went on the Autozone website. Looked up rear springs for a 2005 SS/SC and a 2008 SS/TC.
It shows the SAME part # for both years and it only shows a Duralast brand. It would be a gamble to buy them from Autozone . Who knows exactly what that spring is they're selling.

I would also replace the Rear upper spring Thumper bumper gaskets.
They do not last very long.
As I recall you will need to buy the whole bumper to get them.

You don't need them. You could make them out of thin rubber if you want.
