Making Shocks

OK, one of the things on my list is making some shocks. I'm starting at the back (the easy end). Looking at the area around the shock I may be able to make a coil-over shock (spring on shock, remove stock spring). Does anybody know what the stock spring rate (on a '07 Panel rear) is? There is a tag on the coil. Is the spring rate 221#/inch??https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/fil...springrate.jpg

Not unless it's in kilograms !!;) I still don't think that would do it.

I'm currently trying to find the spring rate for the LS, LT sport and SS.

Everyone has moved out of town:(:(
