Need help with brakes

I installed a new set of rotors, the kind that are slotted and drilled and also new ceramic pads, the noise is very load when brakes are applied. I then istalled a different set of softer pads and the noise continued. Anybody have the same experience. What can I do except for putting other rotors on?. Thanks for any help, Jim

Well if you changed the pads and it continued, then maybe it's the rotors? Also, where did you get the parts from? Ebay?

Are the slotted rotors directional, check and see if you have them on the wrong side

Jack the car up , leave the wheel/tire on, and spin it. If there is a noise, check to see if some type of "wear indicator" is the culprit. This was the case on a 2008 Cobalt I had.
