Need help identifying master cyclinder

Hi everyone
i I have a 2008 LS auto and I ordered a master cylinder earlier this year and it was determined defective as I’m losing my brake pedal force. I was told it’s leaking from the bypass.

according to the dealer the master is no longer available but I see them on rockauto and I’ve ordered the previous one from there so I’ll be doing a warranty claim hopefully.

But I just want to make sure I am getting the correct one before I do so. Maybe that is the issue?

I do not have stability control, traction etc so I originally ordered Acdelco 1741153 which states “except active brake control JL4, with 4 speed auto trans”

is this the correct one?
dealers here won’t tell me the part number,( I’ve called a few) I assume they are losing money by telling us part numbers so we can order them elsewhere?

Oldblue, that says gold/professional, isn't that typically a lower quality part?

Probably, I would order the GM 15939484 , that’s new from GM

I want to make sure I got the right one. Considering I thought the one I got originally from rockauto was the correct one.

I got off the phone with gmpartsdirect and they confirmed the one I bought originally ACDelco 1741153 is the correct one for my vehicle as the actual GM part is 15939484 which is the picture I posted from their website.
so it looks like I ordered the correct one, I guess I got a defective unit.

Are you going to replace the booster? That is probably your real problem.

I replaced the master and booster earlier this year. According to the mechanic it is the master cylinder.
