I would almost do this JUST to rid myself of the dust monsters on the front of my SS.

So you guys are thinking these brakes won't be good for an SS? I have a non-brembo SS.

If you are talking about the link that sleeper put up, those are the same as what I purchased except I purchased 4 rotors w/pads. I didn't see anything on the listing about ceramic pads. The link shows it is advertised for the HHR with rear drum brakes. I like mine. Again, a hell of a lot less dust than the factory ones.

Great! I need to do a brake job on my HHR and my Caddy SRX. Luckily they make the same package for both cars. Sweet deal!

Then you have Ceramic pads like the Non-SS kits have.

You may be right. Did not say ceramic on the box though.

I don't know ?, in the ebay ad for yours, it does not mention Ceramic,

For non SS it does, but they look exactly the same ?

How many miles have you put on that set up ??

My brakes are fine, but I like the rotors you have

Thanks Ron-

And here's what I found about the Posi Quiet pads, seems they have 3 different pad types.

Posi Quiet brake pads are manufactured using the same positive molding process utilized by Original Equipment suppliers. Positive molding uses extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate. This process assures consistent friction material density throughout
All Posi Quiet brake pad friction formulations are asbestos free and are available in three application specific compounds.

Semi-Metallic

• Outstanding wear characteristics
• Lowest dust
• Stable friction performance across wide temperature range
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ceramic

• Low dust
• High friction level
• Stable friction performance across wide temperature range
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Extended Wear

• Long wearing
• Low brake rotor wear
• Stable friction performance across wide temperature range particularly
high temperatures
• Excellent for fleet service and heavy duty applications
