Very rarely the "same problem exactly", You would be well served by starting a new thread stating your exact symptoms. Or, just reading the entire thread because you are going to get the same responses.
Like: LCA bushings, improperly installed wear indicator (skrechers), worn out hubs, etc.

Donbrew is talking about his advice of starting your own thread instead of “tagging” on to this old thread looking for help.
Yes. HHR’s have rotors in the front and DRUMS in the back. (unless it’s a SS model which has 4 wheel disc brakes [rotors].
I’m moving your issue to a new thread, to avoid confusion and you really don’t have the same exact problem ( that other thread involved rear brake drums.
several things to look at here, have you just completed a brake job, if so what was replaced.
If not, then are you doing the work or taking it to a shop?
If you are doing the, if fairly easy , inspect the front rotors for grooves on the brake friction surfaces
inspect the brake pads, are both the same thickness, or is one side thinner then the other?
have a look at the back splash shield, any bends, is it touching the rotor?
is the metal tab on the inside pad touching the rotor?
See the pads how they are evenly worn See the splash shield is touching the rotor, check the caliper slide pins , they should move easily in the caliper bracket
