Pedders USA

**Just a quick update**

I have a 2010 HHR SS and I have been scouring this forum for the best suspension option. I did find Pedders would be the best option based on several of the community experts...thank you for that. However, when I ordered the kit (220006/220007) from Over The Top Performance they indicated that Pedders USA went bankrupt about three years ago.

If any one is trying to get these types of coil kits you should place an order soon. I ordered the last kit from OTTP. There may be others out there, but they are going quick.

Pedders is an Australian based company. The US branch was always somewhat problematic. I'm a New Age GTO fan and they made a lot of good parts for the 2004-2006 GTO as well as the G8. That was probably their biggest market in the US. When Pontiac disappeared, Pedders USA became sketchier and sketchier as time passed until they finally ceased operation I believe in 2012.

There web site isn't very friendly, I wanted to see if they were they 1 design or 2nd design.

From all my past research, the leftover HHR Pedders stock that is being sold is the original 1st design. Pretty sure that was the only design that was ever sent out to the vendors. That was also the design that had issues with the rear coils binding and making clunking noises.

I was lucky I guess to get Pedders to swap my originals out for the redesign. This was around the time Pedders USA was going out of business. They called that 2nd design a prototype and even in a E-mail stated I would be "testing" them. Don't think that second design ever actually went into production.

Pedders rears. Designs 1 and 2.

I believe the one on the right is "progressive".
