Question about Lowering with 18x8/Eibachs

Hey guys I have a few questions. I bought these wheels and they are an option for the Pontiac Solstice 18X8, not sure of the offset but I think solstices are like 45mm?? I hope these fit I have not done a test fit. But I was going to run a 225/45/18 tire and intstall the Eibach kit. Think ill be ok for clearance??

that should work before lowering. I had some 18x7.5 and it sat nicely . I dont know how much more lower eibachs would be on the HHR but an 18x8 might scrape in the rear.

Yes, 55mm off set is correct for OEM rims.

G,

I have the Eibach lowering kit on mine and I put 18x8 Boyd Coddington Widows with Proxes 245/40 on them. I get an occasional scrape on some bumps so I am thinking of rolling the fenders.

Not sure how much this helps but I figures I'd add my 2 cents.
