Something like that? https://www.crateenginedepot.com/Rea...97-P51764.aspx

Or you could cut something out of a thick rubber sheet. That's what I did. The factory foam insulators just rot away quite fast it seems.

Rear coil spring insulator / seat 25993738

I continue to look high and low (internet, aftermarket, junk yards) and have yet to find part 25993738 rear lower coil spring insulator / seat. If anyone has a used (even cracked or in pieces) part I would love to have it. I am determined to reconstruct the part dimensionally and then try my hand at fabrication in polyurethane with 3D printing. I don't know if I will succeed, but I need to at least try. I have searched for HHR, Cobalt, Pontiac G5, Saturn Ion, etc.

Thanks

and loving them!

Mistake on coil spring seat / insulator

I just ran across a part for Saturn Ion: DEA Products 4713451 Suspension Coil Spring Seat. It looks close to 25993738 ...
I know HHR, Cobalt, Pontiac G5 and Saturn Ion share many rear suspension components. Does anyone know if this is a usable substitute for the HHR?

My mistake - this part is for the upper position on the coil spring - sorry. Just my wishful thinking/

If it was the lower it should have worked. Ion is basically a Cobalt.
