Rear springs
Due to the FWD platform, a slight rake[slightly lower in front] is the better setup, both for traction and handling. RWD is just the reverse.
You need to transfer the weight to the driving wheels, which in this case is the front wheels. If you don't care about better traction or handling, then it does'nt matter which end is lower. "Moon"

That sounds right, but it seems that a stiffer rear suspension in general will help with better traction and handling. I already noticed just the opposite of what you explained...The stiffer setup with the tc springs/shocks has allowed better traction in cornering and digs by limiting the weight shift or body roll of the car...and this was accomplished by lowering the rear only. I really think that even if I had the sc springs and sat lower in the rear I would have noticed improvements over the FE1 suspension because it is so soft. So I am sure greater improvements would be made by using the FE5 Springs/shocks to rake the front to spec, but the stiffness on its own helps a lot.
I've installed '08-'09 Cobalt SS/TC rear springs on mine almost 2 yrs ago. Just right, imo.. GM Part# 25821162
Softer & lower 'balt springs are '05-6-'07 SS/SC GM part# 10390024
I've been using the ttr bar, but plan to upgrade to a Powell Street Bar.
