Replacing Sway Bar Bushings
^ It won't. Your 2" drop is up above (springs, I assume). The distance from the control arm to the bracket on the strut probably has not changed. Hope that helps. Proper geometry is more important to performance than the length of the link.
I got my posters mixed up, and then I kind of mis-spoke.
For drop springs, the distance between the two end points of the drop link has not changed because you added shorter springs. That's my point.
Other aspects of the geometry changed but this distance has not.

I had replaced my sway bar bushings with oem's..... and for a side note to all of this I had to grind a bigger hole opening.. so I could get the 10mm socket and exstension properly aligned on both sides.... hope this helps.. have fun with that washer...
loweredd~ Would you please elaborate a little more on this procedure. I suspect you loosened the top nut so it cleared the stud a MM or so and then pried down on the nut? When you removed the nut, did the bolt fall out of the frame? It looks like a bear to put back in if it does. Did you remove the end links 1st? I have the end links ordered and plan on picking up the replacement bushings at teh dealer so I can do the entire job at one time.
Appreciate the clarification.

honestly take a 1/4 with an extension and a 10mm if you drop the nut you can use the lower control arm miunting position to fish it out with a magnet. Feeding that nut and bolt into position is way easier without that stud fixed snug. Took half the time and effort when I broke the washer off the bolt. You can then stick just a little of the bolt through the hole and line the nut on top finger tighten then put a wrench on the nut to tighten back up.
