Requesting F&R swaybar information.
I see/read here where most hhr owners want to lower their ride(s). Also, some look for or add swaybar(s) [bigger or better than what came on the front, or to add one to the rear]. I'm in need, or, want to raise my hhr, to 'beef-up' my suspension F&R. Better struts & springs because the front end drags/scrapes when parking too close to concrete parking bumpers, and when crossing some roadside/driveway drainages. When I put a load in back the rear end sinks, and the sway when driving is really noticeable. Would some of you veteran owners please post information on F&R swaybars, rear springs and front struts w/beefer springs ( only want raise front 2/3 inchs, put HD springs in rear and install a stout rear swaybar, then perhaps a larger front swaybar. Thank you. Keep up the GOOD word(s).
I'm not going to say what you want to do is impossible, but its going to be a bugger. I have never run across anything like a kit to raise an HHR above the stock ride height, but there are a half dozen+ ways to lower them.
Maybe your best option is to take it to a place that does suspension work on 4X4 trucks to see if they have any heavy duty springs that might work, but that is at best a long shot. Any attempt to raise a vehicle with a strut type front suspension is fraught with trouble, you'll be changing the whole front end geometry which can lead to some "interesting" handling characteristics...you might make it un-driveable.
How much weight are you hauling, I've had 750 lbs in the back of mine and it didn't even drop more than 1/2", you might be seriously overloaded. The nose is easy to smack on parking lot bumpers, just ask my wife and her HHR, but we're never run into issues with driveway entrances/speed bumps/drainage grates even when loaded to the max.
Not meaning to come off sounding negative, but a bit more info on what you haul and how exactly the nose scrapes would be helpful if you can provide it.

Not trying to pee on your parade, but raising a HHR up 2 to 3" would be raising the center of gravity way too far up. Stock is bad enough, but couple more inches would be one wicked handling deal. Sway bars, even way bigger, would not help very much. Think you'd be asking for a wicked rollover at some point in time, unless you drive like a little ole lady.
What your asking for, you should consider getting another vehicle, like a pickem up. "Moon"
