I just got my 09 Cobalt SS rear springs delivered today. $50 shipped, from a rolled car. Hopefully will get them installed soon.

Great deal, just hope everyone came out of that Cobalt OK. It's got to take some doing to get those to do rollovers..

Remote start isn't standard anymore?

My thoughts exactly, and there actually was a couple guys fighting over who gets the seats out of it. Even after the seller, stated the seats were removed for cleaning and would not provide pictures until after they were cleaned. I wouldn't want them

Nope. Had to add remote start to my 09 LS for about 400 bucks. Aftermarket would have been cheaper I'm sure, but went with GM approved for warranty coverage.

i rolled my cobalt sport once at 60 mph. I switched lanes and didnt see a puddle on the interstate. Puddle turned me into the center barrier and my car rolled once. Came out with a couple scratches. So i got another gm car. My hhr.

Hey Sleeper, you have any problems with just doing a Cobalt SS spring swap with no other changes? I thought I read in a thread without rear sway bar, with Cobalt springs the rear end tends to get loose? Just curious...

Steve-

That has not been my experience. Using the SS/TC Balt rear springs improved the handling a good bit, not as much body roll. Felt more "into the ride, & not on top of it" (so to speak)..And 1" lower center of gravity in the tail, which Leveled my HHR..
Actually I was surprised at the amount of improvement.. But did still have some body roll when pushed hard in twisties.

About a month or so later I added a TTR rear sway bar & now when I push it really hard & it just stays flat in turns.. The handling is very neutral. It doesn't plow or get loose in rear..
But I'm sure I haven't reached the limit of it's new handling ability..& Not sure I want to find out the limit either....
But it is greatly improved for my driving style..
