Springs?
 Okay I know they've all got there supporters and the nay-sayers, and that said I want to know which of the available drop springs is going to bring me closest to the asphalt. Yes I want functionality but that's why I intend to go with springs, I had considered the coil-over kits as well but I'm not building a race-car, I want the drop for aesthetics and to alleviate some of the body roll. So far I'm leaning towards the GL G1's, from the stats they're dropping the most but I was hoping that I could get some input from those of us who have actually had the oppurtunity to compare the products

i have GL gen 2's best i could find.

G2's are levelers aren't they

Unless you go to a bag system, GL 1st gen is the lowest that was ever produced. Just keep an eye on the classifieds here, occasionally a used set will hit the market. |
Eibach FTW!!!
|
What is the ad on HHRBoutique for then? I don't know alot but they still list as 1.75 and 2.125 drop
|
The sportlines from eibach are a good drop, about the same as goldline gen2, and are easy to find. The pedders look a little lower to me, but they are more expensive.
|
Eibachs have the least amount of drop......Whats that other company out of San Diego? They have more drop then the GL's .....
|
I just found A set of Eibachs that are 2"F and 2.5"R, listed as Balt springs but they claim they'll fit the HHR, any one know if there's any truth to this
|
Those must be the sportlines, the prokit lowers 1.5 and 2 I believe.
And eibach sells the same springs for cobalt and hhr, same part number. |
