SS HHR parts inter change with other HHR models

Here's my question. I wish to put on SS model front hub bearing assembly on my 2006 LT Model HHR.
Will there be a problem in doing so? Has anyone else done so?

The answer is no, does not fit. They are different part numbers, I don't know what the difference is. I know the steering knuckles are different.
Question is why?

RJ_RS_SS_350 Apr 19, 2019 03:52 PM

The SS axle shafts are larger, and are splined differently.

I'm just interested in the front hub bearing?

donbrew Apr 19, 2019 04:17 PM

The axle fits into the bearing; thus they need to match.

If you want to install ss hub bearings on non ss model, you will have to replace all suspension to ss parts.

I thought all front wheel bearings were the same on all models

LS and LT yep.
SS, different beast.
