struts and anny other prob
 

i bought a new 08 hhr lt in june and its jan 09 and i had both my front struts go at the same time and the bumpers and thats js in town driving so i brought it in on a friday and now 2 weeks later ime hearing the same clunking noise as when it started. if annyone dis likes or has had othe problems with their 08 hhr plz let me know plz thank you

I am having the same issue with my 08 also. The front end clunks whenever I pull in to my driveway or go over a speed bump. I will be calling the dealer to see about them fixing it.

It may be the Strut Mount and not the Strut itself. I had this problem with my Vue.

ime in winnipeg manitoba canada and its finaly getting warm and now that i havent gotten it fixed yet i dont think their is anny oil left in the struts and the car is a rough ride i think ime gunna trade it in on a silverado and my check engine light is on and its my clutch sensor not positioned right so it a b@%#$ to start in the mornings. thanks for the posts everyone

08 Shadow purchased in April of 08. It is now February and starting around Christmas time, Rear wheel hop became an issue. When I took it in, they said since I had not had the tires rotated and they were severely damaged, they needed to put on new ($650) tires before they looked any further. I left and had tires put on from another supplier with a better warrenty, but still have the suppension problem. Not sure what to do at this point. Looking to get it fixed outside the dealership, but rear shocks don't yet show up (Monroe) or others. I do live down a dirt road, but would'nt think they should wear out this fast.
