Suspension Advice
I paid $172.00 delivered to Calif. bought from Rock Auto Fe struts, had them installed 2 weeks ago my HHR 2006 2lt lowered 2 inch front 21/2 inch in the rear, too soon to tell but seems to corner flatter, need to take a mountain to really tell, have the new Eibach rear sway bar in back.
I have a 09 LT and want to change to FE5 but trying to decide what springs to roll with. I found a set of Eibachs new in box on CL or a set of SS springs as well.
I bought the lowering springs from Progresive in Anaheim, Calif. over 4 years ago it was the first mod. I did my 2006 2lt 2 years ago I bought the KYB rear shocks fe-3. Eibach used my HHR to redesign the rear springs about 2 years ago?
Eibach offered to install their new rear springs but could not tell me how much it would lower so I stayed with the Proggresive springs but they did install the new swaybar. As I had 2 of their sway bars break so I got the first of the new sway bars so they kept my HHR overnight to design their new springs got a tour thru their plant was impressed.
i think i asked this before but i cant seem to find the thread i asked it in so ill ask again...
im running fe5 shocks and springs now but i want to grab maybe the canucks or yyz v2's but im worried about winter driving...my original tire size is 16 but i went to 18 on my summers but my winter set is still 16". Am i going to have a problem driving in the winter with the lower springs on 16" tires? (snow plow)
