I was think about just replacing the strut with the FE5 since i have to take the other ones off anyways. But it could only be 3 things i sprayed WD40 on the A frame bushing, sway bar bushing and the bottom of the strut wheir the coil sits and underneath the mount and the clunking stop for a while but then came back

Well how’s about spraying one place at a time now to narrow down the parts

According to these reviews the KYB’s are preferred for the FE5 SS

I am having a similar issue in my '08. I just ordered the CABs from OTTP and I hope to do those along with the sway bar end links and bushings. Hopefully that will tighten up everything in the front end.

Iginore most parts that claim to "fit all" if you have an SS.

You could have better weather protection and same performance out of these!

The front pivot bushing rarely fails.

I would bet on the rear LCA bushing.

But, OP, KYB does not belong on an SS. They may fit, but "wallowing" is not in the SS' vocabulary. Reconsider.
