Sway/track bar link length?

*Tried to edit subject, but couldn't. Meant stabilizer bar, not track bar.

OK, I searched and found MANY discussions on sway bar link length, but none give a difinative answer as to what length a 2007 1LT (2.2L) FE1 should have?
RA lists both the 9.86" and the 11.80" for this car.
I do not have the car here, so I cannot go and measure it.

There MUST be some sort of "standard" length for various options?? I am pretty sure the mechanic at the dealership doesn't go and measure before he pulls them from stock.

Does anyone know?

We have the same 2007 with the 2.2l engine. Sway bar end links are 9.86"
Hope this helps. Greaseable Moog Links #750012
Hope this helps.

Thanks Shmoo, that's the one I was leaning towards. I was hoping someone on the forum would be able to tell me what the difference is? I have an 08 SS that is due too, and it it looks like it uses the 9.86", but is a DIFFERENT part number!?!?

I don't remember how many times I have typed "KB75012 -10 inch" sway bar links in capital letters. I don't know how you could possibly say no definitive answer. The reasons for both the misrepresentation and why not the 12 inch links has been run into the ground.

I don't have an SS. Have you measured your OEM.

As far as I know the 12 inch links that get listed for HHR are just wrong.

For the record: The Moog K750428 is the recommended 9.98" HHR SS link, it is the same length as the K750012 but is built with a thicker rod and parts. A nice heavy duty version for any HHR using the 9.98" length.
