towing capabilities / trailer towing package

...installed a hitch assembly on my '09 SS recently and found that I had to enlarge only the rearmost hole on the passenger side. The biggest challenge for me was in getting the supplied fish wire to stay rigid enough to thread through the channel without recoiling itself...ended up having to fish some mechanics wire through first, attach the supplied fish wire and then pull the entire assembly through.

Well. This thread you're talking about is over 10 YEARS old. If you read it, it states there was no "towing package" offered back in 2006, 2007.

Uh. All HHR engines are 16 valves.
