Back to the collective wisdom here. What is the best upper Strut bracket available? I know there are some premiums out there. There's nothing worse than dropping a few grand on suspension and getting a KLUNK from the stock upper Strut brackets.

 

I’ve installed KYB, Moog , AC Delco, all very good results, be sure to order the upper spring plate or at least be ready to clean it and repaint them.

 

Strut bracket for a stock HHR suspension ? Oldblue's list covers it.

Strut bracket for your soon-to-be, highly modified suspension ? Who knows. Trying to recommend stock replacement parts is easy. Recommending parts for your Frankenstein car is a whole new ball game. Until we see some pics of those suspension mods, trying to tell you which parts are best doesn't really matter.

 

If you mean "mounts / bearings" they come with quick strut assemblies. If you get just the shock you cand get the mount / bearing from any parts seller along with the spring and isolators, bumpers and dust covers.

The "bracket" is part of the body.

 

Malibu struts drop right in. In the past I have seen upper mounts from performance outfits like Eibach etc
