It "might" be anything. Why not let the mechanic look at it and actually diagnose it? It probably needs a new valve, they do get clogged.
However, that code does not cause the symptoms you cite. There is something else going on. Maybe the MAF didn't get plugged back in after the air filter was changed. I would open the hood and look for wires hanging, every wire should be connected to something.

Thanks donbrew, I will look at all the answers i have in this thread and go one item at a time ... and see if i can fix this problem...
So far the mechanic, like i said, told me its gonna cost over 1000 for him to fix the wiring harness, but agian, he said it could only be the plug going in or coming out ...

$1,000.00 will buy some tools and parts to get it fixed and enough left over for a short vacation!!

From what you said the mechanic has not looked at the car, just got your symptoms from you.

Did the mechanic lay hands on the car? If he did, did he give you a written estimate? In the most states a written estimate is required. On what basis is he recommending a new harness? Which harness? Why?
Sounds like you don't ask questions.

If he looked at it and didn't say anything but "$1,000 to replace the harness" you really need to find a competent mechanic; that is just BS meaning "go away".

What you need is a technician and leave the mechanic to parts swapping.

I think he gets the picture! Needs new part , might need harness adapter. Comes with some parts not all.
on my 2007 LS and my 2011 2LT, both AC Delco valves plugged right in from factory harness, but had to transfer the gasket seal from old part.

I know it’s probably a bad solenoid inside the assembly but I would still first try unplugging it and inspecting the wiring and pins and plug it back in just in case it’s just a bad connection.
