Thanks and you are welcome. My HHR is a really nice build and maybe one day the right buyer may come along. Was thinking to maybe do a BAT Auction....

Another pic of the Z06 for you!

Thx! It certainly becomes a need after a while. The next car, the next project, buying new suspension components, brakes, exhaust, wheels/tires, tuning etc. Power, performance and cosmetic upgrades to make it yours. Then when you’re done you sit back and admire your handiwork and enjoy the vehicle. Some you sell others you hang on to but always on the search for the next project. Its always evolving.

HHR’s were not on my radar and then one day I saw a Panel for sale and thought wow that looks cool. Started researching and learned about SS’s (that the SS package was more than a cosmetic package) and that Chevy built some SS Panels in ‘09. Read somewhere that Bob Lutz stated the HHR SS was Chevy’s return to a true SS package. Searched but could not find one and decided to build my own with all the power, performance and cosmetic upgrades I found and wanted. From first seeing a Panel to finding and building this one was about a 4 month process. It really turned out nice, drives fantastic and has lots of giddyup!

Yes, asking $20k. The time and effort, not to mention the money, required to complete this build was substantial. Mechanically well sorted vehicle, fully renewed and upgraded suspension. New brakes, new exhaust, all new fluids, new tires, new wheels, intake and tuning etc etc as listed throughout this thread. The only thing i did not do in the conversion process is install rear door poppers which I have no use for and the rear seats are still in place. It comes with original wheels, air intake box and original rear window doors.

Buy it, drive it and enjoy it. Needs nothing, even has fresh oil/filter.

I joined the forum just so I could keep an eye on this thread. I literally decided yesterday that I really need an HHR SS in my life & found this thread searching for an SS Panel (aka unicorn...haha). This car is perfect but 2018 was a killer for me & my funds look like a dumpster fire right now but I figure I'll poke around, learn some more and get the right car at the right time....
