Yes, that confirmed it! Even though this thread is about 50’s cars, this one was probably built in the 50’s or 60’s .

First I recognized the headlights , then saw the front plate and the seven letters over the bumper. I don't have a clue what it is! john

Caddy Sombrero hub caps, drenched headlights (factory, not customized) , low roof line, not a chop .

those letters, spell Lincoln, the car is a 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, commonly called a baby Lincoln.
