I have a 2010 HHR 2.2L with the F23 getrag and am in need of a rebuild kit or at least the parts. Long story short, have two transmissions that need fixed. One needs main shaft bearings as it has an ear piercing wine in all gears and the other needs 3rd/4th synchro as it grinds going into both gears and they are on the same shaft. I like the car too much to get rid of it. Does anyone know where I can get parts for these transmissions?

I just googled F23 rebuild kit , lotsa sites have kits available

 

Those are not the correct ones from what I can tell. They are for trucks.

I did just buy one of those last night. I still would like to rebuild one of these transmissions if not both to have one spare at the minimum. Those kits on the link you have appeared to be for the NV3500 trans. So I'm guessing then there isn't a place to source parts other then trying to see if the dealer can get them?

Will do. Since this trans has a different final drive ratio than the original, is there any speedometer changes that are needed that you know of?
