By design Impact sockets are a bit loose, not enough to slip.

OK, I got a pair of front bearing hubs with ABS, a couple of new axil nuts and a 30mm deep socket. I determined that it is the front passenger side bearing. I will do that one tomorrow and worry about the other one later.

don't wait to long, they tend to fail in pairs! And a tip break the axle nuts loose before you jack up the car! unless you have aluminum rims. the socket won't fit thru the center hole

I got the bad one replaced today. It took about 2 hours including clean up, nothing was stuck. Sounds good now. Thanks for all the help I got from the forum members. I'll get to the other one Soon.

Don't forget to retorque the axle nut and lug nuts after say 100 miles or so!
