Does the cobalt ss fit our cars.
Would like to upgrade to the 400hp option.

400 hp option ? Not sure what you're talking about there.

on the cobalt forum the drive shaft shop makes an upgraded piece that is rated to 400hp. i guess i will contact them.
my tow truck driver said his friends cobalt was tearing up the stock units. i plan to hot rod some bolt ons so replacements can now be upgraded over oem.

I believe the cobalt ss shafts and the hhr ss shafts are the same.

They are. I'm going to do the same thing.

The driveshaft shop said the 400 horsepower option is not available for our car. Everyone sells the OEM replacement which the cheapest is at Zed Zed p. Looks like that is our best option if you have another please inform. I just recently changed my bearing on the driver side and noticed the grease in the bearing side drive shaft was grey while the transmission side was still yellow a month later that shaft has failed. Just a heads up on what to look for if you are working on that part of your car.
$160. Problem for me is I need a supplier to ship United States Postal to avoid duty as I am in Canada. Still waiting to hear back whether or not ZZP will do this
