transmission removal

Is there any information on here about how to remove automatic transmission.

We don't have a transmission replacement "How To" as of now, someday maybe if there's a member willing to do one that'll change.

Your best bet is to get your hand on a Haynes, Chilton, or Factory Service Manual.

If you're not set up to drop the front subframe safely with your tools at hand, it's better to farm the job out to a shop and save time/frustration.

Doing it as we speak. Pretty easy actually. Support the motor and radiator. remove the fuse panel. disconnect shocks and brakes. drop sub frame then tranny. got the tranny dropped in a saturday. went and picked up the new/used tranny 70k miles yesterday. plan on test driving this weekend.

Good Job!

The boys in the dyno lab in Windsor would swap them out in about 2 hrs. given that they did it about twice a week to check "certain parts" in "mules".
