Who makes the best replacement CV axles?

I'm getting ready to do the front end on my 2011. Struts, bearings, CV's, Seals, Tie rod ends, Ball Joints etc. The concensus I see for most is Moog. Is there a better CV available or should I just go Moog?

My suggestion is to get rebuilt. Moog prints pretty boxes for "cheap Chinese" parts; they aren't what they used to be.

I installed these,

Take care to get the right ones. The listings at parts places aren’t always perfect, to be kind about it.

Yeah I want the absolute best. I'm going with Malibu struts and taller rear springs. Coilovers look like they have more tire clearance as well. Lift stresses them somewhat so I want the best.

Taller rear springs, are you getting taller shocks to go with them?

X2 Unfortunately it's true

there is a passing question - is the purchase / sale of CV joints practiced in the USA? (not drive assembly, CV joint only)
interested in the part number that actually exists on sale

The stockers seem to have adequate travel. Just loose some droop. I'm going to get longer brake lines when I replace the springs.

It is possible, but for some reason the CV joints themselves cost almost as much as the axle assembly.

So I only have one recommendation for the Rock Auto products. I'm shocked that the ecotech community hasn't come up with something better or stronger considering what these engine's are capable of. I've found the cost of better parts is less than 25% the cost of doing it twice!!! Not to mention downtime, towing etc!
