Is it just me, or does it seem like the featured HHR has become more of a popularity contest? I mean, in no way are they being judged on pictures...which isn't that one of the main points? I mean, why else would it say to have good, uncluttered pictures right in the rules? It also seems to have little to do with the cars themselves...but more the owner... Mods seldom make a difference....

And I don't mean offense to anybody. I think the other 3 people running this month are great, and I'm not saying I should win...it really has nothing to do with me, but it's part of the reason why I don't really want to run anymore..... It's just a popularity contest.

CraztCarKid , personally i voted for what i thought was the best looking HHR, IMO. I don't know you, i just see your ride. When i vote every month, It's voting on the best looking HHR that i have to choose from.
This spring , After a clay bar and a wax i will enter for HHR of the month, Many will not like where i've taken my ride , Some will . It is a competition after all.

 

I make it a point to never mention whose ride I voted for..

Everyone has preferences, so do I. So I vote for the one I like best. nuff said.

 

It just seems like people tend to vote for the ones that are from the same area as them... Now again, I'm not saying that EVERYONE does that, I don't mean to offend anyone, because I know not everyone does. I'm just saying that there seem to be some that do that. We have proof in this thread even.

CrazyCarKid, if it makes you feel any better I did not cast a vote. I do not know car guy, or have even seen his car in person for that matter. They are all nice cars, but I'll never enter my car in the contest....what for? bragging rights for a month? My car is still pretty much stock, it's an 09 LS that I've done several subtle changes to, and have a couple more planned. However at the moment my priorites lay with my 2 classic cars.
