Still not over yet.

But I'm definitely very pleasantly surprised...I had my car washed by my detailer on Friday, and decided to take pictures of it on a whim, right after work...my wife looked at me like I was nuts...kind of like "Where is THIS coming from?"

I figured I was getting it in so late that most voters would be much more familiar with the other entries. There was a couple of locations I wanted to go to to take pics, but simply didn't have time to get to them. I may take pics of my ride at those locations later. The pics came out better than I expected, because I was really rushing around...I took them all from about 6 pm to 7 pm, then finished my submission thread very late Friday night.

But I'm glad that HHR fans like what I've done...I really enjoy this car so much, more than any one I ever owned, and still get excited every time I have the keys in my hand. And I still like to steal looks at it as I'm walking away from it, just like I did the very first day I brought it home. And I know most HHR owners, no matter what their HHR's trim level or how modded their HHRs are, feel very much the same way. It will be a very very sad day when I can't drive it anymore (and I ain't NEVER getting rid of it!).

 

wooo hooo i came in second lol, everyone here has a clean HHR i feel honered even placing.

 

You've got a great-looking HHR, you've got a great shot to win if you enter again. It'd be interesting if you and onelife and fox re-submit for August...

 

I'm thinking about submitting for August too, but I'll have a chance against the competition as of late.
