After seeing the news today about the train wreck outside Tiskilwa, IL, I wonder if ethanol will go up like gas usually does when a refinery has a problem.

I talked to a relative that lives there (my mother was born in Tiskilwa) and she said you could smell the ethanol for miles.

 

I'm going to guess that it's likely. Hard to say how much without knowing more about the losses, but I had already heard that the weather had pushed prices up back in the summer due to crop losses.

 

any excuse will do...So I'll say yes..
