Seeking links/recommendations for max airflow
Hey gang, I've got a '10 2LT and am considering mods that are most-effective at increasing airflow and reducing backpressure. Considering an airbox from K&N, maybe a chip mod, and lastly an exhaust. I'm too old to want 'sound' from the system; I'm primarily interested in simply increasing efficiency.
Thanks ahead of time and look forward to hearing from folks in-the-know...

Just a tune will make the most noticeable difference. We have had feedback on probably all the aftermarket and a few homemade intakes, no noticeable gains there.
Exhaust can be improved a bit with a catback, also the downpipe with cat, then a header. Not cheap though.
If you still want more flow after that then port the head and do the valve train for higher rpms.

I noticed a little difference with the K&N, but I added a Trifecta tune at the same time and that helped, especially the tranny tune. The K&N definitely made it sound better........
The 2lt comes with the same muffler and tip as a SS, so I wouldn't worry about back pressure.
