Just wondering if any of you use any type of fuel injector / fuel system cleaners? and or oil treatment additives? like Lucas engine oil stabilizer .
Thanks,

I have used Techron, Seafoam, no huge improvements.
The correct viscosity oil and regular oil changes far out weigh the use of additives in the oil.
Keep it clean and drive it often.
Now I’m not going into how often or how many miles you should change the oil.
I’ve go 418,000 kilometres or 259,733 miles, I run full synthetic Dexos 5W30, still running strong.

Thanks for the reply, As long as it isn't going to cause any problems, I'm thinking of running a tank with Lucas Fuel injector cleaner, or similar product.

That might help, have you cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor?

I do "think" I remember reading here on HHR net to use only " throttle body cleaner" not carb or brake cleaners, didn't know there was such a thing a TBC....

Thanks skyline26......Soo many sensors !, I remember that one now from when I changed my air filter and forgot to plug it back in before starting....I remember the day when I could work on my own vehicles without stressing out that I may cause more troubles than what I started with.....lol.....but of course they where getting lower mpg's then most vehicles now a days...but I got 21 mpg hiway on my 6 banger CJ5...and 23 HW on my 65 Ford galaxy 500, 350 Cleveland....but those where not as accurate calculations compared to today. I guess.

Yes throttle body cleaner for the TB.

Use ONLY MAF sensor cleaner on the MAF! Very important!

Yes, I had to write that down on my shopping list, so I don't revert to my shade tree mechanic days....
Thanks, I can always use all reminders that happen my way.
