O2 sensor extension
Has anyone ever tried to use the trick of using a spark plug non-fouler or O2 sensor extension/spacer on the second O2 sensor to fool the CEL light while running a catless DP on a 2.2 or 2.4? Works?

I tried this on my old car ('05 Saabaru) and it didn't work. The ECU on older cars allowed this, but it didn't work on mine. I tried lots of stuff, and just ended up driving it with the light on for a year or so. I did read the codes from time to time to make sure nothing was REALLY wrong...
I might still have the drilled-out anti-fouler around if I looked hard enough, but I am not optimistic it would help.
