I got a second cable and mounted it on top of the steering column with velcro. The cable is run dowh the side of the steering column by the tilt lever. It doesn't interfere with viewing the DIC and I can move it to whichever vehicle I'm driving. I set it up to display intake air temperature, water temp, RPM's and voltage.

Just about to suggest that. Thats mine that I did for my Sirius radio. Im now looking into something a bit different. I have a piece from a 98 Expedition, the air controls for the rear passengers, that im looking to mold onto the the dash console? That way the lid still opens and you dont lose any storage but and you get a complete custom look. Will post some concept pictures tomorrow when I have a camera handy.

I have mine sitting in the gap between the steering column and the cluster, angled just right so i can see it and not blocking the indicator row which it would have if I had just velcroed it on the column

To buy a pillar molding from gm you have to buy the boost gauge and piller complete. about 200.00. I have had one on back order for about a year now.

I mounted mine on the space taken up by the passenger airbag warning light & since I don't have fog lights I cut out the cover where the switch would be and ran the cable to the back of the Scanguage. Also while I had the waterfall off I ran the power cable for my GPS that I had mounted to the top of the waterfall, inside the center dash.
