I've never used a trailer before, but I replaced a broken turn signal light bulb several years ago. I will double-check it again. Thanks.

 

If either the DRL or the Left lo beam fuse is bad the DRLs will not work.

 

My guess is replace the bad headlight bulbs and it will be working again.

I hope so. The new headlight bulb I ordered will arrive this weekend. If that's really the reason, that would be great.

 

Good news: The DRLs came on when I started my car this morning, I set the multifunction switch to “Auto” and put the transmission in “Park”. I didn’t do anything these days except remove the broken headlight.

Bad news: Then I installed a new headlight and it worked at first. However, it burned out after I drove for several minutes.

Thank you. I tested the battery, and the output voltage is 15V. I think this could be one of the reasons that the headlight burned out. However, according to this website: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3135...9711436267638/

So do I need to fix the high-voltage issue ?

 

It isn’t all that high at 15 V

 

When I start my car, the battery voltage is always 15V. So I think maybe this cause the headlights to burn out, the battery drain, the dim instrument panel and abnormal Auto Light On/Off. Is this correct?
